Most important factor of slow webpage loading are big images. If you have images on your webpage make sure that they are not in MBs. They should be in KBs. Do you know that you can decrease an image size by 80% or more without loosing its quality? I suggest you to keep your images under 200kb.

#9: Sitemap
What is a Sitemap? A sitemap is a list of pages of your website which will be accessible to the crawlers or users. A website should be based on the sitemap and It is recommended to design your sitemap during the process of website design.
